Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch

Ride in the beautiful Arizona desert with friendly wranglers who have made this dude ranch their home for years. Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch borders over 400,000 acres of natural western desert beauty at the foot of the Mohave and Hualapai mountains. You can be assured of breathtaking views and constant sunny days.  They offer slow scenic rides amongst the cactus landscape for the novice rider and for the more experienced riders they have trotting and loping rides in the desert washes.

Set up like a little Western town, this dude ranch will make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time living the life of a true cowboy.  Because the founder’s oldest daughter is in a wheelchair, the ranch has been designed and built to be fully handicap accessible including a special ramp for wheelchairs to mount horses. This gives them the unique ability to offer a completely barrier-free vacation to all disabled travelers and their families.

Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch offers an all inclusive package that includes three delicious meals a day, accommodations, two horse back rides a day, swimming pool, hot tub, wagon rides, hiking, mountain bikes, ATV’s and much more. Each room has a patio with rocking chairs, some with courtyards, extra large bathrooms, and Western theme decor throughout.

They were the proud recipient of the Special Travelers’ Choice award in 2005! They also received TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence Award in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015! They are also the proud recipient of Gene Kilgore’s 2015 World Best Ranches award.

Evening entertainment on some nights, includes cowboy singers, campfires, storytelling, line dancing moonlight wagon rides or games nights. Some nights, guests like to just sit, relax and gaze at the star studded skies or enjoy fireside conversations with new friends.

Your hosts, JP and Tricia McCormick invite you to try this special guest ranch! They welcome all travelers to come and experience a dude ranch where the Old West blends with the new. The staff at Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch will do everything they can to make sure everyone who stays there has the most memorable western experience possible! Get your boots on and come see how the west is really fun!

Every room at the guest ranch has a porch with benches, rocking chairs, views of the cactus gardens and mountains. All guest rooms are supplied with environmentally friendly soaps, shampoos, lotions and amenities. All rooms have hair dryers, air conditioning and are extra roomy to accommodate wheelchair guests. Some rooms are adjoining. The family suites comprise three rooms of which one has a fireplace and living area with a couch.

The ranch offers a gentle, slow walking ride or an intermediate trotting ride as well as an exciting fast trotting/loping ride. You get to choose what type of ride you want to go on, not the other way around. Not only are the wranglers friendly and personable, but so are the horses as well! As soon as you leave the corral, you will see nothing but beautiful desert scenery surrounded by 3 mountain ranges – NO cities, or subdivisions, but an occasional coyote in the distance will be seen. There are hundreds of thousands of acres of pristine untouched land at the back gate of the ranch which are available for horseback riding.  Rides are offered twice daily except for Sundays when the horses and the wranglers have the day off.  Lessons are offered on demand as well as pony rides for the wee ones.  For those guests staying over 4 nights the ranch offers a 4 to 5 hour lunch ride into the mountains.
